The classic 1999 update portal for Windows 95 through Windows 2000.
Make sure you have Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5 or 6.0, confirm your system is listed below, then launch the V3.1 site to scan for updates.

Archival note: V3.1 is missing many inventories, so some languages show a "Cannot Display Page" error. If you have old WindowsUpdate files, run the Inventory Checker first.
Concerning languages: We are currently working on adding more languages to Windows Update V3.1. This process takes a lot of time and effort to get to a satisfying result. If you wish to help, get in contact with us (you may need some knowledge about updates first)!

About this version
An upgrade from V3.0 with a new logo and internal refinements, V3.1 is best known as the last version to support Windows 95 and NT 4.0. Every version after it required at least Windows 98 First Edition or Windows 2000 SP3.
